Maintenance of salt bath furnace
1. Keep the salt bath furnace, transformer and control cabinet clean, and the site must be cleaned after work.
2. Regularly check the registration form and the indicated temperature error should not exceed ±5℃.
3. The contactor and traffic lights work normally.
4. The water flow system of the electrode is unblocked and there is no leakage.
5. The fan runs normally and regularly eliminates the dust accumulation in the flue.
6. The instrument control room should be clear and bright, and the registration form should not be touched with dirty hands.
7. The crucible furnace should be cleaned once every 2 to 3 months to remove the oxide scale on the shelf.
8. Cover the furnace lid when the crucible is not in use.
9. When restarting the electrode type salt bath furnace, pay attention to safety.
10. Before the new furnace is used, the furnace body and furnace (crucible) must be dried. A small amount of charcoal or wood can be burned in the furnace, and the temperature can be gradually increased, and then dried with a resistance heater. The drying time is at least 36h. Until the furnace shell reaches 35-40°C.
