The continuous annealing unit integrates the cleaning, annealing, leveling and finishing processes of cold rolled strip steel. Compared with the traditional bell annealing furnace annealing process, it has the advantages of short production cycle, compact layout, easy production management, high labor productivity and excellent product quality. Among them, continuous annealing furnace is an important part of continuous annealing unit. According to the process requirements, the continuous annealing furnace can be divided into preheating section, heating section, soaking section, slow cooling section, fast cooling section, aging section and final cooling section. When the strip steel is driven by the furnace roll in each area of the furnace, it often has floating deformation, which seriously affects the stability of production.

The strip deflecting deformation in continuous annealing furnace is essentially the buckling and post buckling deformation of thin plate. The strip deflecting deformation has been studied by experiment, analytical method and finite element method. However, the thermal deformation of furnace roll is rarely considered in the study of strip deflecting deformation at home and abroad, and the fixed roll shape is mostly used. In actual production, when the strip steel runs in the continuous annealing furnace, due to the local contact between the furnace roll and the strip steel, the temperature distribution of the furnace roll along the roll body direction is uneven and the shape will change. The relevant research shows that the shape of furnace roll has a great influence on the floating deformation of strip steel, so it is very necessary to study the influence of furnace roll thermal deformation on the floating deformation of strip steel. Due to the closeness and complexity of continuous annealing furnace structure. This makes the experimental method and analytical method have limitations. Therefore, the author takes a continuous annealing furnace in a plant as the research object, and studies the influence of furnace roll thermal deformation on strip drift deformation through finite element calculation method, in order to provide a theoretical basis for selecting appropriate furnace roll and improving strip drift deformation in continuous annealing furnace.
