What is the nitriding temperature of the nitriding furnace
The temperature of nitriding treatment for improving the surface hardness and strength is generally 480~570℃. The higher the nitriding temperature, the faster the diffusion rate and the deeper the infiltration layer. When the nitriding temperature exceeds 550°C, the alloy nitrides will aggregate and grow and the hardness will decrease.
