The material of the nitriding furnace pipe
The furnace pipe in the nitriding furnace is generally made of 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel. The nickel and certain nickel compounds in the steel have a strong catalytic effect on the decomposition of ammonia, and as the number of nitriding furnaces increases, the catalytic effect is enhanced to make ammonia The decomposition rate is constantly increasing, and the ammonia input must be increased to stabilize the nitriding quality.
Therefore, after using several heats, the nitriding tank should be denitrogening treatment (the denitrogen treatment process is 800~860C, and the no-load heat preservation is 2~4h). At present, low-carbon steel enamel nitriding tanks have been used in actual production, which can ensure that the ammonia decomposition rate of 400h is basically unchanged.
