What is the purpose of ordinary industrial heat treatment?
Some profiles rolled in the steel plant can be directly used as finished products, and some need heat treatment. It can be used as surface treatment materials such as annealing, normalizing, tempering, warp, tamping, carburizing, nitriding, carbonitriding and so on. Generally, the purpose of metal heat treatment is:
1) Change the physical and mechanical properties of metal;
2) The internal stress caused by pressure treatment is eliminated.
3) Reduce metal hardness and improve cutting performance.
4) Improve the surface hardness of metal;
Perform chemical heat treatment to meet advanced performance requirements.
